Welcome to Doctari Safaris trophy Red Stag hunting the most affordable trophyStag hunting in New Zealand.
Operating since 1997 and Six generations of the Dougherty family farming sheep and cattle on this land.
We have top quality red stag ranging from nice big even 12s to big even 18 or 20+ pointers,
These top quality red stags maybe the most affordable for size available in New Zealand
and hunting these big deer in the roar is an amazing adventure. In the same area we have the
beautiful palmated fallow buck that always makes great hunting , we have two pure white bucks available next year
which are hard to come by and would look great on any wall along side other trophies. Arapawa Ram are available too
and these under rated animals can take some hunting. Plus plenty of wild goat , wild boar and NZ Mountain turkey.
Moderate to easy terrain while hunting , with plenty of glassing and viewing points
Set in the unique Maniototo high country in Central Otago. This terrain is perfect for the bowhunter .
We also operate unguided bow , shotgun and rifle hunting plus trout fishing packages
in the sunny Central Otago South Island of New Zealand .

Our Hunting is situated fifteen miles from the small town of Ranfurly
We are about two hours drive from Queenstown which is the adventure capital
of New Zealand .Queenstown or Dunedin airports are our main pickup points.
