We are about two hours drive from Queenstown which is the adventure capital
of New Zealand . Queenstown or Dunedin airports are our main pickup points.

We access over 20,000 acres of private hunting land in the unique scenery of the
maniototo and native high country close to the southern alps. Whether you want
a day hunt or take advantage of our five day combined package,
Even an inexperienced bowhunter has agreat chance of taking game.
Doctari Safaris boasts a 99% success rate to this day on all species hunted.

For those looking for the peace and quiet of true Kiwi country living, we
are pleased to offer FREE accommodation at our familys old homestead
bunkhouse, its not the luxurious of places but is situated in the heart of our
bowhunting area far from town.So you will have to cook your own meals But we are

pleasantly surprised that most of our hunters prefer to stay here rather than in town

There are often deer and turkeys outside the window early in the mornings.

Bow hunters can step outside and are right in the turkey and deer hunting area.
And are walking distance to the goat and hog hunting area.
" Bow hunting season" starts on the 1st of september and goes on all year
" Shotgun season" from 18th october to the end of august ( the rest of the year).

We have awesome hunting adventures for wild boar with bow, rifle or dogs & knife
Hunt fallow deer , wild goat ( bow or rifle ) , small game ( bow , rifle , shotgun )
Shot gun hunt water fowl, game birds ( seasonal and game bird license required )
We have the best Mountain turkey hunting in New Zealand. ( bow or shot gun )
   a designated area ( 1000 acres +) strictly for the bow hunter. Limit of 5 birds a day.
